Watercolour Art Workshop

This is a 2 hour workshop.

With an introduction to the historic, regional paintings by Canadian artist Lucius O’Brien, participants will create a monochrome landscape. Using artist-quality watercolour paints, brushes and wax resist on watercolour paper, participants will learn about colour graduation, monochromatic scale, basic watercolour painting techniques, positive and negative space, texture, and transparency.

Afterwards, you are welcome to order a snack or lunch at your own expense from the Lazy Tulip Cafe located at the Maclaren Art Centre. Enjoy a time of fellowship with fellow members while we wait for our paintings to dry.
