At RTO District 17, Unit 1’s Spring Breakfast and AGM, held at the picturesque Barrie Country Club on May 7th, members enjoyed the entertainment provided by Brian Richards. They gathered with colleagues and listened to updates from the executive team.

During the event, heartfelt thanks were given to members who had dedicated many years of service to the district and the unit: George Allen, Connie Gillespie, Lyn McLean, Roger Heath, Sharon Kitsemitry, and Lu LaFrance.

Anne Arksey and GeorgeAllen shared the new structure for Unit 1. The unit will rely on Members At Large for event planning and proposed organizing one breakfast or lunch to bring together all members. This approach aims to enhance collaboration and contributions from within the unit.

The atmosphere was one of celebration and camaraderie as members came together to enjoy the event and acknowledge the contributions of their peers.
