An enthusiastic group of readers met on Thursday, March 27th at the Lazy Tulip in
Barrie to discuss The Spoon Stealer by Lesley Crewe. Ideas and thoughts around
the story of Emmeline and her family were shared, spawning much interes+ng
conversation on a variety of related topics. As well, titles for future good reads
were shared. This was a very enjoyable social hour and a few of the members
remained to have lunch together. It was an excellent way to get to learn a little
more about one another. Hopefully there will be another get together like this in
the coming year. Anyone is welcome to take the lead on organizing such an event.
Just let Connie Gray at conniegray@rogers.com know if you would be interested in
doing that.
**Thank you to Michelle Thorne for facilitating and Kathy French for the
writeup.**
