District 17 of RTOERO recently awarded grants to four Collingwood organizations.

• Collingwood Agricultural Society: Education Day at the Great Northern Exhibition is cornerstone educational event providing Grades 3 and 7 students with hands on learning experiences focused on agriculture.
• Collingwood Leisure Time Club: This centre has served seniors in the area for more than 35 years and support is needed for the aging facility, especially the kitchen area.
• Collingwood Paddling Club: This club has celebrated its 20^th Anniversary as a non-profit community organization dedicated to providing access to dragon boating, spring canoeing, kayaking and recreational paddling to its members.
• Contact Community Services: This group supports a rapid re-housing unit for seniors 55+. While there is funding for individuals in the program, there is a need for transitional funds as they move to a permanent residence.
